We are a family-owned German Shepherd breeder located in Harvard, Illinois. Our dogs are certified AKC-pedigreed German Shepherds that come from champion German bloodlines.

All the dogs have rich, gorgeous, black and red coloring. They have gentle temperaments, loyal dispositions and superior intelligence. We occasionally have beautiful long haired shepherds along with the elegant standard coat shepherds.They enjoy healthy lives on our fenced five-acre property where they're free to explore and exercise.

 

The puppies are part of our family, too, allowing them to bond with their parents and our cats. Our grandchildren visit regularly, so the puppies are well-socialized and ready to join a loving family.

I have a special bond with my German Shepherds that very few breeders can replicate: My dogs literally saved my life.

On a summer day in 2015, I went outside for my daily walk with our two adult dogs, Cinnamon and Travis. My husband was glued to a preseason football game when he noticed the dogs barking relentlessly. He looked outside and saw me lying in the grass in our front yard. I was unresponsive, so he called 9-1-1.

I awoke in a hospital eight hours later, and the doctors informed me that I'd suffered from a stroke. Fortunately, I made it to the emergency room soon enough to receive the necessary medical treatment, and I was able to make a complete recovery.

 

Time was critical. The doctor told us that if my husband had found me during half-time and the end of the football game, I might not have been so lucky. I'm living testimony to the loyalty and intelligence of the German Shepherd.
